One autograph letter signed CORRESPONDENCE ยท To Mr. Myhill : 1 ALS ; 8 Aug. 1883 (MISC 1427), reads in part: "I have just finished my Examination papers, but next week I must set to work at my American utterances -- not a holiday business by any means ..." Letter bears embossed stamp of the Education Department.
